Hi, my 49 clutch is acting up. When you push it in and put in gear, as you let the clutch out, the tractor starts to move as normal. About 1/2 way out the tractor will stop moving. Then continue to let it out, the tractor will move and go as normal.
I want to remove the woods 59 mower, (which is in the vine for Sale) so i can permanently mount my snow plow, so the clutch needs to work as normal

Re: Clutch problem
First thing I would do is take a good look through the clutch housing hand hole. Have someone slowly turn the engine by hand while you check the clutch fingers.
Check the throwout bearing assembly for any missing bolts, looseness, graphite damage, etc.
Then have them slowly press the clutch pedal through its travel while you look up through the hole to see if there is any problem there.
