Postby dodgefreak8 » Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:24 pm

Hey everyone new to the forum and the lo-boy.. I'm needing a pdf of the instructions for the front snow blade. Also can the mower deck be installed with the front blade? Thank you

mower will only cause problems!--you will be hung up every time you turn. it will hit the snow piles,--IF you even make any. also hope you have good tire chains on it cause your gonna need them to go 10 feet! -- How do I know---- I have a 154 with a blade and 3-pt and its TOTALLY useless in snow around here! --- The only thing that works here is blowers! ---rig up a blower on yours and with the lpto, you will have a chance!---- unless you dont get more than an inch of snow, then you might be ok.

Operator's Manual, hydraulics section. Just in front of the left operator's foot is a bolt to lock out the mid-tractor rock shaft.
I have an excuse. CRS.

I push snow with a front mounted blade on my 184 (has the balloon turf tires) but it definitely requires chains and wheel spacers.
My mower deck is wider than the blade so the deck has to come off to push snow. The snow that rolls off the blade would get hit by the mower deck.

I also found that a rear mounted blade (yes, I have a 6' 3-point blade) does not work very well as it drags the front end of the tractor around.
