Alternator with magneto wiring diagram needed

Postby Clubless » Sat Jun 19, 2021 6:07 pm

I have a Denso single wire alternator to go on my 1950 cub that has a functioning magneto. I’v looked for a wiring diagram, but without success. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Gary

Battery terminal on alternator to amp gauge. Amp gauge to battery terminal lug on starter.

Functioning single wire alternator - - - that's it for a magneto ignition.

See if the alternator starts charging at 1/2 throttle or a bit more. If not come back, you may need additional wiring for the Danso.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Thanks Eugene...have not put alternator on tractor yet. I’ll post results when I do.
