Zerk for 23 A disc
Is there any place to get one of the zerks for the 23 A disc? I am missing one on the rear gang.

Re: Zerk for 23 A disc
Remove one zerk and take it to your nearest hardware store or auto parts store.
Your least expensive is to obtain a zerk kit off the internet. Then, needing a zerk, go to the kit.
Are you missing the tube that the zerk sits on? Again same as my first sentence, hardware store.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Zerk for 23 A disc
I remember a post where someone listed the parts they used to make one. Couldn't find it with a search though.

Re: Zerk for 23 A disc
I just looked on Messick's website and they don't even show anything but the zerk itself. I'm guessing it's NLA new.

Re: Zerk for 23 A disc
the fitting should be 1/8" pipe thread, sis you also need the type with an extension on it?

They’re extended units. You might try JoeB. Last time I needed some, I got them from him. Good feller and knowledgeable.

Re: Zerk for 23 A disc
you can use a piece of 1/8" pipe nipple with a coupler on the end for the fitting

Re: Zerk for 23 A disc
Turns out the diameter for the zerk in question is roughly 3/8. The walls where it should be feel smooth so I am going to tap it and thread in a 3/8 to 1/8 bushing with new zerk.
