Tearing into the final drives.

Postby Telfer1105 » Tue Jun 30, 2020 9:09 am

What is the best and safest way to support the rear of the tractor to remove wheels and final drives? I need to install to new gaskets to fix a few leaks.

Overhead hoist is a good option. If not available, cribbing strategicly placed to support the rear of the tractor. Block the front pivot so the tractor does not tilt when jacked up.

No front pivot on a B, narrow front. The safest way is to do one side at a time.
