Today i took out new to me loboy round nose for a test run cutting some grass. It started to get very hard to steer. I greased the front end and added a little 90 wt to the steering box.
Turns out the steering shaft support was binding. I had it be little tight but before but this was the first time
I had it bind the steering. I had to give it a couple of good wacks and lots of spray lub to get it free.
Keep it in mind if you have a problem

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

the support has an oil hole or a grease fitting from the factory for lube

Tim I know about the lube point on the steering support I just never experienced it binding the steering before.
