My tractor, a 185, has this switch on the dashboard. It doesn’t seem to do anything.

I have the manual PTO on this new-to-me machine... but I’m starting to suspect that it has some pieces that were swapped over from A donor tractor, including the three point hitch. I will certainly have questions about that arrangement it will be your date. does my theory hold water? This switch doesn’t do anything, but I don’t understand why you would swap the dashboard over from a different model that had a three point if nothing on the dashboard has anything to do with an existing machine with the manual PTO?

Re: Why do I have an electric PTO switch?
Guessing, my 154 was a government mower tractor at one time. My tractor has two factory installed diverter valves and hydraulic snap couplings on the right side of the tractor.
Haven't researched it, but I'm beginning to think that you/entity could order your numbered Cub Low-boy with several different options.

I have an excuse. CRS.

I wonder if someone put a 184 dash on it?

I’m starting to wonder that myself, since the more I look at this, the more I think that the three point hitch was not originally on here. I’m still digging around at that, but I wonder if that was from the donor tractor like the dashboard may have been?
