Support Stand
Thinking about constructing a pair of support stands for splitting Cubs. Is it worth the added cost to include caster wheels or is just the fact that they w/be adjustable be sufficient?? Looking for suggestions before I crank up the torch and welder!! Am I correct that support stands will allow me to work on rear axles (minus wheels) w/support stands in place?? Thinking that w/allow me to use my cherry picker to support axles for removal or installation? Thanks for suggestions! Dusty B

Dusty,
I find that casters are very beneficial. Here are the stands that I made: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=144&t=60737

Whatever you choose, make sure your setup includes a set of front wedges.
