Taken in 2008 at the Texas Tumble. I know half of them. My guess is that Camo took the pic.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Dinner at Lafitte's. I can still picture BR's face when they brought out his chicken fried steak that filled the entire plate....

Billy Ray got caught on that in 2007. Big Dog had already filled me in on what happened that year, so when Rosie and I went down the next year, Billy Ray tried to pull that on me and kept saying the meals were puny and that I should order a large. I kept in mind what BD had said and ordered the small. The plates were almost the size of 1956 Buick hubcaps.

If I remember right, several employees had taken off that night and then we walked in with over twenty people. Our waitress ended up having to take our orders, bus other tables, help in the kitchen and when we left, she was the cashier as well. She earned every dime she got in tips that night.

This is the best I can do. Big Hoss and Vince D should be in this photo as well. I believe Vince is the hidden person in the red cap towards the left. I though the guy in the cowboy hat was Big Hoss at first, but I had to rule that out.

The kid on the far right is Zack, Mike’s grandson.

I think that’s Mr. Bill Blansett wearing the cowboy hat.
