I have learned: that saltwater taffy and false teeth are incompatible. :|

How about some of your life lessons?
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Married for 40 years. My opinion no longer counts.

If I put off doing a task long enough, it drops off the bottom of my to do list.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Saying "yes dear" only works for so long.

Saying "yes ma'am" works longer.

Shortly after getting married wife and I went to the bank to put her name on the checking account. Day or so later wife asked for the check book to make a purchase.

I haven't seen the check book since, 40 years, and afraid to ask for it back.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Never say what you would do if you were him or her! You just might face the situation yourself. And, never say never. Oops, just did. When you think you are finally rounded and need nothing else ---- Your not. Just wait till tomorrow.
Marriage works well when both try and it is not a competition on who is always right, so yes ma'am works well as Roy says. 51 years this October.

A very wise elderly neighbor once told me, "Never underestimate a woman unless it is her age or weight!"
