IH Danco C-2 fast hitch mower

We picked this mower up several weeks ago and it's not in that bad of shape. I am going to take it apart and fix what needs fixing and paint it.

The wheels are in good shape.

The PTO shaft is with it as well for the Cub.

The small hole cover is still on it for the blade bolts.

The decals are still there though not very visible.

The ID tag is there too.

The only thing I can find missing is the belt guard. Time to get creative.

The fast hitch prong seems to have gotten bent at some point in it's life. I'll try to straighten it.

the weak point is the slip clutch on these, make sure the pins and springs are free on the underside of the pulley, they work well

I printed the manual off from the PDF files here, with the FH I don't think there is any difference in the LoBoy & F-Cub.

the point and driveshaft are different between cub and loboy

This project just hit a hiccup. Oh well, it is what it is. I know where 2 of these decks are sitting. Time to save some money and go pay the man a visit. May take it apart and make a new housing from steel. We’ll see when I get it apart more.

Thanks Tim, the 2 I know of are just the deck that came out from under a tractor. I may see what he wants for one if the spindle housing is any count.

Got this one down to the shell.
