New Home Page?

To my surprise this morning, the home page was entirely different - and it had a toggle to choose between "dark" and "light" backgrounds. I like it myself.

Thanks for noticing and the feedback!

I think most regulars bookmark the forums and never seen the landing page.
I'd completely get rid of it, however, search engines don't seem to like that, so I keep it around. I try to make if useful for first time visitors and steer them to the forums for the best experience.

I'm not sure I've ever seen the home page you're talking about. I thought the board index was home page.

I actually got the landing page bookmarked on my work pc, so yes, I do see it almost on a daily basis.

I never see the home page, I go directly to the index page. I started doing that when I still had dial up, and it took so long to load each page I skipped anything that was not a necessity. Now I have DSL, but I am so far out my connection is still pretty slow, so I haven't changed.
