Jump Starter
Someone recently posted a recommendation for a compact 12V jump starter. Can anyone point me to that thread? Thanks.

I'm thinking it was Peter Person that posted it, but I sure can't find it. I'll keep looking.

How recent was the post?
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Jump Starter
I don't remember the post.
I have this one and am happy with it for portability vs the big one on wheels I have.

Re: Jump Starter
I got one of those compact 12V jump starters for a gift a few years ago, it had extra features like an air compressor/light/usb charging ports/etc.
Tried it once on a weak battery on my truck and didn't help much if at all. It was sub freezing at the time but that's usually when you need it. I don't have any other experience with them but I don't see how something that small could really be very effective.

Re: Jump Starter
It might have been my post. I bought one of these off Amazon and liked it so much I bought one for each vehicle. When the guy in line in front of me at a show couldn't get started I connected it up and she fired right up. Worked like a champ. $56.99
