I skipped the free meal too. I don't feel it's worth the trouble unless I happen to be nearby a place that has one. I did use my 10% at Runnings to buy a 14' gate.

Thanks for serving this great country to all my fellow veterans. I had the opportunity to attend a couple of thanks and recognition ceremonies at local schools and the results were genuinely heartwarming. Letters of drawings and thanks from the youngest of students were shared. Programs of thanks and recognition/appreciation by local officials and JROTC were great. There's an outstanding generation of young patriots waiting in the wings to step up to lead.
