Never know what is in your Pond

Postby tst » Sat Jul 02, 2022 5:51 pm

This one surprised me today, have a small pond and was using the sicklebar to knock down the 4 ft high grass so I could see it again and this small whale was floating in there, Bass about 2 ft long and would say 4-5 lbs, guess I need to get the fishing rod out

Kind of unusual for a fish to get that large in a small pond. Probably ate itself out of house and home. :D

Friend of mine near the house has this small pond, that's a paddle boat in it for reference.

He catches fish this size yearly, he's caught 2 bigger than this one in it.

Carried my kids fishing yesterday, my 10 year old son caught this one. It's the biggest fish I've ever held, I was ankle deep in the mud with the net in my Sunday britches, didn't even care :D
