The fires are south and west of Boulder, about 25 miles south of us. Three fires, one started by a transformer. As of 7:30, about 1600 acres burned and about 500 +/- homes burned. High winds have hampered any fire fighting. Wind gusts from 80-100 mph. The winds are decreasing and we're supposed to get the first decent snow tonight and tomorrow. Just a matter of how much damage there is between now and then. Thanks for your concern.
