Safe/couch

Postby Jeff Silvey » Sat Mar 20, 2021 7:52 am

Well I have been researching gun safes. My son helped me. I decided to go with a Liberty. Well I ordered it yesterday what I wanted. The guy said it won't be here for a while like till October or November. I said I have waited this long a little longer wont matter. I didn't expect a safe to be that late.
My son ordered his couch in October 2020 it wont be here till June 2021. It is what it is. At least things are going in the right way. I hope it continues that way.

Jeff,
The supply chain across all products is thoroughly screwed up and will be for some time.
Prices are going up like crazy. Our vendors in the commercial glazing industry are only holding their quotes to 15-30 days and leadtimes are all over the block.
My BIL is a custom home builder. Quoted a house last summer, increased the price in January by $60,000 due to lumber cost increases.

Yep, gonna continue that way. Gas is already $3 a gallon in my area.. and there is talk about taxing us for every mile that we drive. If that happens The trucking industry will really suffer with many truckers going out of business.
For the last 4 years, every 18 wheeler that you saw on the highway was running loaded, or, if it was empty it had just unloaded on a dock somewhere.
I shutter to think about what the next 4 years will be like.........

Gee, and here I was thinking you found a couch with a built in safe!

I am bummed out now! :(

Put a beater 22 and a few bb guns in one of those cheap stack-on safes where the crooks might find it while your good stuff is in the couch safe! :)
