I welcome that!

It is not that bad!

I have not had the chance to try my dual port muffler out on my ms461 with the mill yet, the neighbors will love that!

The last wood I cut (ash)I left a bit heavy for shrinkage..... Trouble is they barely shrunk if any at all.

I figure there is enough extra on each board to make 2 more planks 1.5 to 1.625 thick! :(

I'm sure this wood mizer is tired but for the price, it is probably worth the drive.

At that price, there must be something seriously wrong with it. That’s probably less than scrap value.

I don't think it's for sale that's probably what they charge per hour to saw your logs.

Agree. The ad reads like they are looking for business using it.

I’m interested in a Alaskan saw mill. I just purchased the 36” bar with a full skip tooth milling chain. The Chinese hutzl offers them.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Shop around! Finding a used alaskan mill is rare!

https://www.cutterschoice.com/en/47204-alaskan-mill-24

A 36" bar might be a bit to big for a 24" alaskan.

A 36" alaskan mill set-up takes a 42 to 46" (depending on brand) bar to mill about 34" wide!

A 36" bar will work with the 36" alaskan just fine, its just you will not max out the mill.

I use a 28" stihl bar mostly!

I have a 36" stihl bar but have not used it for milling yet!

I been looking at getting a 42" Cannon bar next!
