Spring is here. How do I know?
70 degrees and a guy was mowing his lawn this afternoon in Linn, Mo.
The grass is still brown and doesn't need mowing.
It was a big, $4 or 5 thousand dollar, new green John Deere rider and the guy has a very small lawn.
My guess, two or three trips around the house and the lawn is mowed.
That reminds me. I need to service my 22", motorized, $115 dollar, 10 year old, push mower.

The grass can not grow fast enough here!
I always get a good laugh at the early mowers!

Re: Spring Is Here
Yup, spring is definitely close, I noticed the leaves just beginning to appear on the multi flora roses.

I swear multi flora rose grows all winter here!
That stuff sure is a pain (especially finding a prickly vine while flaking a bale of hay)!
But it does have one of the most beautyful smells when in full bloom!
