Running on two cylinders

Installed electronic ignition on a Lowboy 185 and it would only run on cylinders #3 & #4. After checking all wires, etc. finally went back and pulled the magnet part of the new ignition and reinstalled it. Made sure it was fully seated and that fixed the problem.
The instructions do say to ensure the magnet is FULLY seated. I've installed a lot of these but this is the first time I ever had a problem. Simple fix- just follow instructions!

I wouldn’t call it an error, sometimes I’ve found a small burr in the plastic on the inside of the magnet, makes them hard to get seated. I learned to check for that and, if necessary, use my pocket knife to remove it.
