International 184 loboy

Postby treeman53 » Sat Nov 30, 2019 11:01 am

There is a "whine" coming from rear of the 184. The whine is there even when just sitting and running in neutral. Is this common? What should I be looking for?

I would change the hydraulic fluid and filter if you haven't recently.
Hy-Tran or equivalent for fluid.

Small diameter hose, engine running, tractor in neutral, one end to ear, other end to suspected problem areas. Just to make sure the problem is in the tractors rear end.

Whine in tractor's rear, also when in neutral and not moving, I would suspect spline shaft bearings.
I have an excuse. CRS.
