Lo Boy Steering gear box
I picked up a Lo Boy yesterday as a parts tractor but it actually runs a drives and just needs a few things to get going again. The steering is out and it appears to be something inside the gear box. Do they make rebuild kits for them or can you buy the gears or parts somewhere?

You may want to call JP Salvage or HamiltonBobsCubs to see if they have a steering box. Links to their website are at the bottom of the page.

Re: Lo Boy Steering gear box
A kit and parts are available for the Ross type, Low Boy, steering gear box. A kit should solve the steering gear problem(s) and is not difficult to repair.
It's worth your time and effort to remove the steering gear and see what is the problem.
Edit. If you purchase a used steering sector you will more than likely have to rebuild it.

Those boxes were built here in Lafayette Indiana. Unfortunately they are no longer building them and parts are almost unobtainable
