154 rear wheel spacers

Postby cubbrian » Wed Sep 28, 2022 7:49 am

When using a Woods 59 mower on a 154 with the wide turf tires it is necessary to use wheel spacers. My question is are they also required for the 3160 mower?

I have a 3260 mower deck under a 154, no wheel spacers. Also I have turf rear tires.
I have an excuse. CRS.

My 154 with turf tires and 3160 mower does not have spacers.
If you wanted to put chains on it would be a squeeze.

Pretty much my thought, or depending on link size, not fit. My guess. A little loose, damage your fenders.

What do you want chains for?

I don't want chains on my 154 but if some one want to remove snow turf tires don't do too good,

What do you mean by "wide turf tires"? The balloon tires with the small rim commonly found on the 184?

My definition for "wide turf tire" is 13.6-16 as on my 154 Cub.

for chains on them you would need spacers but for mowers none used.
