In the last 6 days, we have had 4 1/2 +inches of rain. Unfortunately almost 3 inches of it was in one day.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

still being blessed by rain with more coming. It is going to take all of it to bring us up to normal levels, unless it is so hard it runs off before soaking in, then we will need more.

If anyone would like a copy of my excel program for tracking rain send me an email at ejpuckett@centurytel.net, and I will send it to you. It is pretty simple, if I can use it anyone can.

Soil temperature is 41 degrees down to 4". Things are starting to green up, with all the recent rain and moderate temperatures. Spring is just around the corner. Maybe the next corner.
I have an excuse. CRS.

They're forecasting winter conditions in north MO and spring weather in south MO for tomorrow. Choose your weather.

We're in the middle. Rain. Clouds. Cool temps.

I'm still going to change the oil in my lawn tractors and Cubs tomorrow anyway.

supposed to be 62 with rain tomorrow, but 62 will not come till pretty late in the day. Weather service says that even with all this rain we will still be 8 inches behind on rain.

I have no idea of the total rain and amount of water from melting snow but we have more than enough. Rivers are over their banks, roads are closed, bridges are closed until their foundations can be inspected. Rivers are beginning to crest but the St Joseph river at Three Rivers is not expected to crest until next Sunday. At one point it was four feet above flood stage and rising. Several personal watercraft were running down the street along with small boats and canoes. I live on high ground so not a personal problem. Vern

Part of the city of Kzo. Double click on left and it will come to full screen. Kzo was probably where tv was showing watercraft in streets. Try reading the entire paper and there is a picture.
