Not criticizing, but I’m not sure I understand that. If you have rhubarb in a moderately well drained soil and give them a good dose of horse manure or other organic fertilizer every Winter, they last forever. My rhubarb plants are descendants of ones my grandfather had over seventy years ago. I’ll try to have some replacements for you this Summer. And some horseradish, too. :D
