Well we couldn't do the H so we went out and bought this 1942 Farmall M. We are the 3rd owner with the current owner having stored it indoors for the last 24 years, with the 1st owner the next farm down. This will be the next project so watch for a restoration thread. We'll be driving it home on Saturday (about 15 miles). A good Craigslist Find asking $2k - purchased for $1.7K. I was very surprised to find how tight the steering was. The rubber is nearly new. Front Rims are New - It needs just the right amount of cosmetic work but no engine work.
Pretty Excited.

Wow, looks like a great purchase! Congratulations. You even got the steel pulley wheel, not the pressed paper one. Nice!

We picked up our 1942 M today. Tim (my son) drove it home to our farm. It took about 1 hour for the 16 miles. Tomorrow - Mandy '42 gets to work pulling the disk-harrow.
