Hitch, plow, disk
I am trying to figure out what kind of implements hitch are used with the B. Are there any 1bottom plows and disks that work? Can the exhaust lift be adapted to lifting the implement?

Re: Hitch, plow, disk
From what I can figure out, only drawbar, pull type implements can be used. IH made small, one bottom plows, as well as two bottom plows, that the B could pull, plus small disks. I don't know if the lift arm from an A would work, as the rear axle spacing on a B is so much wider than an A.
Also, if you go to the "PDF Manuals" section under the "Quick Links" tab on the upper left, and go into the "Farmall, IH, Case -B's, F's, M's, Regulars, etc" section you will find the "Farmall B Implements" literature. It's not all that the B can take, but some. Also, if you go to the Wisconsin Historical Society, you will find IH catalogs. The 1940 one will have implements in it and will have the B. http://content.wisconsinhistory.org/cdm ... 5745/rec/6

Here is an actual IH commercial/video demonstrating what the B was intended to do. They actually had quite a few attachments for them!

I love that video! Indeed, there were quite s few implements, mostly specialized. Seems like odd marketing to have so many tractor models without some degree of Implement interchangeability. The B I have has about 2/3 of a underside mounted cultivator and an exhaust lift. I’d love to find a useable plow to mount like they do on the Cubs, etc. I wonder if any of the Cub or A/C series plows would work.

Yep, I seen that video a lot, since I have it on disk, and on my hard drive. I even posted it on the forum, I believe.

Re: Hitch, plow, disk
very interesting that the ads were made with a single front wheel (which I have) but without the power (exhaust) lift!! Ours had the lift, a one bottom plow (under mounted) and a 2 row cultivator! we pulled a 4 row check row planter, 4 section spike tooth harrow, and I pull an 8' tandem disc!! Is a '41,was overhauled (sleeves & pistons in the early 50's - stllgoing with a little smoke!! Have not looked for the hand lift implements, probably pricey if they were available!! Handy tractor, use it consistently!!
