Remove the whole wheel or just the rims

Postby ShawnAgne » Wed Jan 24, 2018 8:54 pm

Decided to paint some of the 300. Was wondering is it best to remove the whole wheel or just the rims/tires. Guessing the later but didn't know.

The cast center weighs approx. 100 pounds, how much do you want to lift. LOL.. I would just remove the rim. Hopefully they are not full of fluid.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

I took some advice (maybe from here) and put sheets of contact paper across the face of the wheel and then cut out around the rim. Works great.
