Converting the 300 to 12V

Postby ShawnAgne » Sun Oct 08, 2017 4:30 pm

If I'm going to convert the 300 to 12V Neg ground do I use the same type of single wire alternator I would use for the Cub?

Also what about the brackets, same brackets?

Same alternator.

Same brackets, unknown. I used the WD Allis' generator brackets when I converted them from 6 to 12 volt. Direct bolt in.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Martin's Equipment is an advertiser in Red Power Magazine. They offer an alternator kit for tractors such as your 300. It looks like nice stuff! They are in Plymouth Ohio, their phone number is: 419-687-0222. I don't know them, or have any experience with their merchandise, just putting the option out there. There is no mention of a web site.
