crank shaft specs

Postby Grizz » Sun Dec 02, 2018 11:58 pm

I going to do an in frames overhaul on the engine of my 1944 H. The pistons and sleeves are out, the crank shaft looks good. I'm going to order an in frame overhaul kit which includes pistons, rings and sleeves. I need to order rod bearing but want to be sure to order the correct size. They come either standard, .010, .020, or .030 over. I'm going to mic the journals but need the specs. Would someone know the specs of the connecting rod journals ?
Thanks very much.

Below serial 391358, 2.2475 - 2.2485. Above, 2.2975 - 2.2985. I assume '44 would be the lower numbers.

Mains below serial 391358, 2.4975 - 2.4985. Above, 2.5575 - 2.5585. If you are doing sleeve and Pistons and rod bearings, you should do main bearings too.
