Super C with Loader

Postby jamesfjohnson » Sun Aug 07, 2022 3:26 pm

I recently acquired a Super C with a Loader. There's no label or other markings on the loader and the fellow I bought the tractor from thought it came from the factory (or at least the dealer). Was there a factory or dealer loader option for the Super C or would this have been an aftermarket or custom built solution?

Can you post a photo of the tractor and loader. That may help identify it.

Highly doubtful a loader like that, with a bucket that wide would be set up by a manufacture or a dealer. (Product liability)

Side loading the bucket might flip the tractor. More so easily on a slope!

A small narrow manure scoop on a trycycle tractor maybe.

Best advice is remove the loader and enjoy the C.

If you need a loader, better off with a tractor made as a wide front, and also made for the stresses that the loader exerts.

Ps, is that a tow motor (fork lift) tire on the front?

Yes, it is a forklift wheel. It's a solid wheel and the guy who sold me the tractor said it handles better than the original, but that's not something I can speak to from experience. :)

Good catch on the loader. I think most of us look for a loader that will fit and don't think enough about if it is suitable for the tractor. I've got a Ford 9N with a Sauder loader that you can drive onto to attach and detach pretty easily. If it wasn't that easy to take it off, I would never put a loader on an N series tractor because it is really hard on the front axle and hard to steer.
