Re: IH 1000 Loader Attachment
From my understanding the 1000 was made to fit a Cub or a Super A / 100 / 130 / 140.
I guess it might depend of whether it was modified to fit the BN or not.
Hopefully someone else can shed better light on it for you.
In the mean time post some pics of said BN with 1000 loader, so the ones that have that loader can compare.

Re: IH 1000 Loader Attachment
A samafarm said is was designed to fit Cub or a Super A / 100 / 130 / 140. the manual make not reference to a bn.
There is a mount on the front that is attached to the bolster tube used by the grader blade and cultivators. from a quick look the bn does not have a bolster so how is it mounted?
Here is what it would look like on a cub http://www.tmtractor.com/tm-tractor/gim/loader_001.htm
I had mine on a cub and moved it to a 130 and have been much happier with it.

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

Re: IH 1000 Loader Attachment
Fred,
I'm confident that the answer to your question is, no. The front of the loader mounting frame has been seriously modified to accomodate the mounting on the BN. This says nothing about potential modificatioins to the rear mounting.

That loader needs to stay with that tractor.

Re: IH 1000 Loader Attachment
I saw that IH1000 for sale some time ago. I do not see how it would be safe on the BN. It would constantly be flexing the metal and not swivel on the bushing like it is supposed to do. This was a very bad and unsafe mod in my opinion

Here's 1 I picked up this weekend in PA, I agree they should be mounted on the tractor they where design for.
