touch control 140

Postby tst » Tue Nov 16, 2021 10:00 pm

Have a 66 140, the selector shafts on the touch control are leaking, can that shaft be pulled out the front and just replace orings without disassembling the unit like a cub ?
thanks

It has been a long time since I have had one apart, but I am almost certain the procedure is the same as the Cub touch control. I don't think there is a enough room to work with it mounted though. I recall having to unbolt the unit and turn it slightly sideways after unhooking the manifold and removing the fuel tank. .
