Hi all. Finally reassembled my 48 SA, after 13 years apart--life can be challenging :>, anyway I picked up a belly mower which after a lot of picture viewing I think is a IH Danco C-3, has anyone been able to get parts for these mowers? a quick look at the IH dealer site I have used in past was not promising.
Thanks

Actually, at this point I am not sure what it needs, by the looks of it, kinda rough, I anticipate it will have issues so am very happy that parts are still available. Hope to get working on it soon so when I do I will let you know what's needed.
Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.

I rebuild a bunch of these every year, as long as the deck pan is decent it is all rebuildable

Re: IH Danco C-3
Pan doesn't look terrible, few minor cracks which I plan on welding up, before that I think I will blast it and see for real what I am dealing with, the "new" paint job might be hiding a few more issues. On the plus side I did find a decal under paint that indicates it really is a IH deck. So just have to get the time to get on it----how the heck did I find time to work before I retired??

Bearings nd seals I prefer to get at our local bearing shop, although any auto parts store that sells genuine Timkens bearings is fine. I learned years ago not to go cheap on bearings.
My CIH dealer still stocks parts for those mowers, and they look fairly new, so I'm sure any good dealer can get them
