How to install deluxe seat on a Super A?

So I thought I was doing myself a favor when I ordered a new deluxe seat frame with the cushions for my Super A. Well I’m thinking now I should have kept the old pan seat because I haven’t been able to figure out a good way to mount it. Can someone please lend me a helping hand and tell me how you mounted your deluxe seat on your super a? I’m assuming it’s the same as the 140? My tractor has the standard brackets and the spacing on those are way too wide for the mounting brackets on the new seat frame. Any info or pics would be greatly appreciated!!

It should be a direct bolt-on--remove the pan seat and bolt the deluxe on. What does the bracket look like?

The brackets that are made on the seat frame are spaced closer together and the holes are on the side of them instead of on the top. Did they make more than one deluxe seat frame? All the ones I’ve looked at show they fit a cub, super a, 100, 130, and 140.

That looks like a seat for a Cub. As I recall, the 140 seat had slide type adjusters that aligned with the standard seat supports.

So they must have made 2 deluxe seat frames? This one doesn’t specify it fits anything other than a cub but all the others I looked at said they would fit a cub and the others I listed. Well crap. Thanks for the info!!

That’s a Cub frame. The frame you need sits on rails so you can adjust it forward and rearward. It has four studs on the rails to bolt to the existing seat brackets.

Should be easy to find used. I feel sure JP Tractor would have one.
