When you had first shown us that link, I thought it was Hillsborough, NC, and my heart skipped a beat. Now you showed the same one, and before I realized that, my heart fluttered again! Sigh...

Actually I texted that one to you Dale.
That was only an hour north of me too.
I wouldn’t have kept it. I would have got it running and looking right then passed it along to someone else. Now some young lady is having fun with it and with a little luck maybe she’ll find this forum and tell us all about her new cub!
I truly believe things happen for a reason.

I paid more for a 57 loboy not running :(

just goes to show you, some deals are out there!

I got a mostly running 57 with weights, wood mower, fast hitch and grader blade for $600.00. The guy worked at that refinery that caught fire in Philadelphia last summer and knew he was getting laid off. Was selling his toys. Turned it up and put on a good carb started cutting grass.

I do not think the loboys do as well in my area. I have three and the $600 was the most I paid. One had a cracked bolster but it was a slow leak and I cut grass all summer with it before i fixed it. one was not running under a tree for 8-10 years and has a mower, grader blade, and rear weights and chains $350.00 engine is free. People want $1000 for a regular cub in that condition in my area.
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

That certainly doesn’t mean he’ll get this for it.
Of course it is the 18hp C60 engine ;)

If you want a really rare one how about a “high boy”?

This has been up for sale for about 3 years now and was about the same asking price as the Lo-boy when it first went up.
