140 Battery

Postby 1978cub » Fri Nov 08, 2019 6:49 pm

Anyone have a recommendation where to get a good, reasonably priced 12V battery for a 140 tractor?
I was looking online and I could not even find a battery chart that listed what size battery to use in a 140

+1 on that, I use the 26R (only difference between the 26 and 26R is which side the "+" terminal is on) R= reversed but for my tractor it put the + closer to the starter which is what I wanted. I don't have original batery box on mine so I'm not sure how factory had em, I just wanted the "+" away from the carburater choke rod which runs close to the termainals so I wanted the ground side there just in case it ever touched. So no possible chance of it shorting out...
