Hydraulic system
I just rebuilt the hydraulic reservoir on my super A. The lift arms are going up fast but not going down very fast at all. What would the problem be?

Re: Hydraulic system
Or is this normal. It seems to me before the rebuild they moved going down as fast as they did going up

Re: Hydraulic system
I've been doing a lot of reading about the hydraulics on my Cub and I assume the super A is similar.
It's set up to restrict fluid exit from the lift side of the cylinder. The idea is to keep it from dropping fast due to implement weight. I suppose it's possible you actually repaired something during your rebuild.
I'd put an implement on it and see what it does. I know "down" on my Cub really labors the engine if there isn't any implement weight.

Re: Hydraulic system
I was thinking the same thing. Probably repaired something that was letting them go down to fast.
