Hello there,
Hello everyone, my name is Rick. I live outside Buffalo, NY. This past summer I bought a 1950 Cub as a project tractor for my 17yr old son to learn on, but I have to admit, I'm the one having most of the fun. The Cub is in pretty good shape but leaks from everywhere. I suspect it sat idle for most of it's life. It's a strange shade of Orange with funky tires, RV type bar tires in the front and 6 bolt rims in the back. I hope to restore it to original condition with traditional tires, rims and a good coat of RED paint. I discovered your Forum this winter looking for help on how to split the tractor and replace the rear seals. This Forum is a wealth of knowledge with the most friendly and helpful people I've seen anywhere. I'm proud to join and hope to contibute in the future.
If things are going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Rick welcome to the best form on the web. There are great manuals on this form and plenty of people who can help with any question that you might have. The manuals will give you good info in how to break your cub apart. Be sure and read the safety tips. Rudi will be by to give you the formal welcome later. Again welcome and dig right in.
