Newbie
Hi everyone. My name is Doug and I am in WV. I am just starting to restore a 1951 Cub that belonged to my grandfather. I'm already finding a lot of useful information on this site and have got the old girl running again. I enjoy repairing things in general and have managed to keep my 1979 Power King 1612 going for many years. I now use a Massey Ferguson 1705 as the main line mower and mover but the Power King still does the snow removal. The Cub is probably just for fun. Thanks in advance for much needed technical advice.

Welcome! Depending on where you are in WV, you might look into attending the Barnyard Bash in Harrison Ohio in June:
https://www.barnyardbash.com/
I don't think Bill has updated it for this year, but the dates are June 1-3.
Welcome!
And have fun with your '51!
BTW, we LOVE pictures!!

Welcome to the forum. Many of these guys can answer just about any question you can throw at them. Glad to have you with us.
As Dale mentioned, If you want to spend a great weekend with many of the members from this site, you might want to mark your calendar for June 1st, 2nd, & 3rd for our CubFest in southwest Ohio. It looks like you are less than 4 hours away. We get many members in attendance who travel much farther and grab a motel room for the weekend. You can check it out here. http://www.barnyardbash.com

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
