Gene Dotson
I know several forum members remember my brother Gene. Though not very active, Gene was a forum member for many years and hosted two Cubfests at his mini-farm. Following much illness and hospitalization, over the past three months, Gene passed away at about 3:30 this afternoon. He was a regular at the Tri State Gas Engine and Tractor club events and a past director. He had a small collection of, primarily Case tractors, although there was a Cub in the barn. I thought it appropriate to post this here to inform those who knew him. May he Rest In Peace.

Re: Gene Dotson
So sorry to hear of Gene’s passing, Gary. I was at both of his Cubfests. A lot of the old timers were there. Some that are also no longer with us. Those certainly were the early days.

Re: Gene Dotson
Gary, I'm sorry to hear about Gene. I was at one of his CubFests and of course talked to him at several other CubFests as well as every year at the Tri-State show. Rosie and I send our condolences to all.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Gary, was saddened to hear of Gene's passing when Regina told Candy. I, too, attended both of his CubFests. His smiling face was constant fixture at the Portland show.
