I drove this tractor home about 7 miles away when I was 14 years old with dad following me. He didn’t use it, it sat in the shed until I was about 19-20 years old (43 now) and got the fever to restore it. He saw where I was going with it and gave it to me. It’s the only thing I have I wouldn’t sell. It’s a 1949, the same year he was born. Our son (7) has been after me to get it out so we can ride it. I figured with it being Father’s Day weekend it was a good time. My parents came by yesterday and I got a picture of my dad and my kids on it.
After they left I got the pressure washer out and gave it a bath. Hasn’t been washed in at least 4 years.

Cleaned up real good, even for a GREEN tractor!

Thanks for sharing the story and happy Father's Day to you.
