NOS Cyclone spreader

Postby Slim140 » Mon Jul 01, 2019 8:27 am

A friend of mine found this NOS Cyclone spreader a couple years ago and we did some trading. It's never been used. I'll probably put a FH prong on it and use it behind the 140's.

Put this spreader on a FH prong while I have the 140 here at work. This is the first time this spreader has ever spun. Super quiet and ready for use. May spread the seeds on the deer food plot with it soon.

Yes, it is. I've gotten to the point in life of "what's the point in having it if your not going to use it?"

This spreader had a pto adapter that had 2 set screws to hold it to the shaft. That was going to be aggravating, especially if I’m gonna use it in the field then hook the drag harrow to the tractor. I got one of these modern style adapters and made a sleeve that is 5/8” od X 7/16” id. Works great.
