Auction Find

Postby east_emma » Tue Jun 04, 2024 3:23 pm

I recently went to an auction that was selling out a ton of Farmall Tractors, parts and memorabilia. I purchased what the auctioneers must have considered a pile of junk although they must have placed it there because it was in a building in an early picture for the auction and in a random pile outside when the auction started. I was guessing on the contents of this pile of junk when I was bidding but I believe I guessed right even though I was surprised to find out what I got besides what I was bidding on. Someone else saw something also and bid me up to $250.00. This is what I was after although I didn't realize most of the parts were there.

This is a lot of the rest of the pile. The manure spreader sheet metal was on the top...Lol!

And this is what got my curiosity up.

It took me a few weeks to figure out what I had. These things just aren't that common. I found the manual for it through this site. After reading through, it looks like all the parts are there but I'm obviously no expert. I'm probably going to need another Cub! :D

Now you need to be careful. You used up your luck for at least the rest of the year.
