Model ID

Postby Sdec » Sun May 28, 2023 9:30 pm

Serial number 236525 yellow and white, appears to be 1970 model year, I see lots of stuff saying a 154 or a 1 something or something, as you can tell I’m very new here and will be needing some parts, I’m sure I will need more info to find what I need. Where or how can I determine if it has another designation other than Cub?
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

You have a 1970 standard International Cub.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thank you! I guess what I was seeing was for the Low-Boy.
I appreciate the response.

Hi,
The model is originally shown on the serial number plate on the Cub.
Sometimes someone paints over the plate, and you can't read the model, or other words that were on it.
Below is a pic from TM Tractor Parts of a plate from a 1968 Cub. :)

My ID plate is there but only the stamped number is barely readable, I found the manual access already too, I’ll try and post pictures later today if possible, thanks for the help!

Hi,
The words on the serial number plate can fade away.
Below is the 1965 Cub and LoBoy operator's manual, it has lots of info. The front cover has a picture of a 1965 Cub.
They look the same as a 1970 Cub, as I remember.
