Corn planter question
I’m looking at buying an IH 201 planter for my Cub, my question is, my tractor is a 1947 and has manual lift, no touch control, will I be able to raise and lower planter with the manual lift. I have no problem with the plow or cultivators but I’m not sure about the planter. Anybody have any advice.

Re: Corn planter question
I doubt you be able to handle it. IH said Touch-Control was required and as I recall, even added a helper spring for use with the hydraulics.

What kind of planter, tow behind or underbelly? I don't see any way for a hand lift to lift the 2 row pull behind model 201 drill planter. The manual specifically calls for a T/C system.
