Fast hitch carry-all
Howdy Folks, does anyone have the dimensions for an original fast hitch carry all frame? I want to build one. I found a fast hitch spike on ebay and will fab up the rest. Thanks!

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Fast hitch carry-all
I replied earlier but I guess it didn’t post.
Just wanted to say thank you for the quick reply! Very helpful! Now I can make one that is close to original…
Everyone on here is great! Would love to come to a midwest Cubfest someday, but it’s a long haul.

No need to go to the Midwest, the Rocky Mountain CubFest is in Longmont, Colorado, 1138 miles +/- from your digs. I drove 1372 miles across the Midwest to attend in September and it was well worth the trip.

Re: Fast hitch carry-all
I’m finally making a carry-all for the wife’s Cub. I bought a fast hitch spike on ebay, and have fabbed the rest from scrap steel I already had. The L-brackets are 3” channel, as I didn’t have enough heavy angle iron on hand. I also made it taller, for a higher back-board. So it won’t be an authentic reproduction, but it’ll work great. Main job will be hauling trash cans to the highway.

It doesn’t have to be authentic, custom made to suit your needs, looks good to me.

Carry-all is coming along…
Surprised how snug the fast hitch is. The platform doesn’t wobble at all!

Wow!
You have the cushion spring on the pull bar of your fast hitch!
Your carrier looks good too!

So is the spring not a standard item? Just curious…

The spring is an option. Not many Cubs have them. They can command a high dollar if someone is looking for one.

10 years ago or so, they were going for $1,000 or more on ebay.
Dave Wile (dirt devil) made one to see how much it would cost. Getting the right spring was the hardest part of the build.

Isn’t that something! I told the wife her tractor was a good investment!
