Postby Jim Reid » Sun Apr 24, 2022 11:01 am

Done dumb stuff yesterday i was splitting a cub had all the wires all the bolts out everything disconnected would not seperate part of my family came for a cookout after eating i drafted two grandsons to help we worked a couple minutes when Michael said Popa i think if we take that bolt out of the steering column and remove the bushing we can split the tractor and it worked. :help:

BTDT! I've also unbolted it and pulled the retainer out of the support, and STILL couldn't get it to separate! Someone finally looked up & saw the steering wheel, itself, was hung up! :?

I’ve been there and done that also, among many other similar things. I call those types of things brain farts. They seem to happen more often than I like to admit

I had a inboard outboard boat. I wanted to change gear oil in out drive. I got 6 tubes of Merc gear oil. It had plugs on top and bottom . It said put it in from bottom till it comes out top. When I got all 6 tubes in I put mm finger in the hole and realized I left the plugs on the bow of the boat. There I was like the boy with his finger in the dike.
