Galvanize Rims and 7-24 Tires

I picked up these NICE Galvanized Cub rims and 7-24 Tires today, I thing these were standard equipment on early Cubs? Anybody have a Clue?

Hi Folks
I have a 'very original'48 with rims and tires just like that. They are Good Years also. They have at least 80% tread.
