Snowplow mounting
I am in the process of mounting the snowplow on my 55 lowboy. I did a topic search and was unable to find diagrams or photos of how the plow mounts up.The link to diagram from 2017 was no longer available. Im pretty confident that I have all the mounting parts.

Make sure you have a Lo-Boy (L-54) mount and not a standard Cub (54A) mount. Click on the link to see all the differences.

Re: Snowplow mounting
You didn't say what model blade you are mounting. I have the original book for my '48 grading/leveling blade. Let me know if you need info on that type. Otherwise, Ricky has probably got you covered with those pics.
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.

Re: Snowplow mounting
I never can get photos posted but my parts look like the one in the photos.. I am missing the two blocks that mount inside the square tube below the engine. Any down and dirty alternatives? Or if someone has them for sale that work be the best alternative

You could fashion a couple of blocks from some solid oak if you are in a jam.

Is yours a Cub 54 like the parts book extract in the manuals section? If it is what are the chabces of getting a photocopy of the manual?

Re: Snowplow mounting
The '48 grader and leveling blade is an earlier version than the Cub-54 and was only offered for a year or so. If you look at the pics on TM Tractor's website, there are some distinguishable differences between the two. The Cub-54A came out later and has again some minor differences from the Cub-54. All mount to the tractor the same way, but the lift brackets and linkages differed.

Re: Snowplow mounting
It's the same basic procedure, Cub or Loboy.
Here's a video on the subject:

Oh yeah, and the handsome gentleman is installing a LoBoy blade on a regular Cub here.
